A Nest Circle is a gentle, peer-led space where students come together to explore climate emotions, share experiences, and connect through creativity, reflection, and community care.
Each circle is safe, supportive, and welcoming, no pressure to speak, share, or participate beyond your comfort level.
It’s simply a space to breathe, feel, and be held by community. -
Most circles include a blend of:
a grounding or mindfulness activity
a climate related themed reflection
optional sharing in pairs or group
a creative element (art, writing, storytelling, nature-based practices)
gentle closing reflections
You can engage however feels right for you. There is no expectation to perform or participate, you set your own boundaries.

Yes, we kindly ask that anyone planning to attend register in advance. This helps our facilitators prepare the right amount of materials, create a comfortable space for everyone, and ensure the session runs smoothly.
If you decide to join last-minute, drop-ins are welcome whenever space allows, but registration helps us care for the group more intentionally.

Not at all. Creativity at The Nest is about expression, not artistic skill.
We use art and storytelling as pathways to reflection and connection, no experience needed. -
No. Nest events are peer-led wellness spaces, not clinical services.
We create supportive environments, but we do not offer counselling or therapy.
We can, however, help connect you with campus mental health resources if needed. -
Our approach blends:
climate emotional literacy
community support
creative processing
simple, accessible pathways to action
We believe that climate care is a form of climate action, and that students who feel grounded and supported are better equipped to engage in meaningful, sustainable change.
