4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Fall is here, and we’re opening the garden 🌿🍂
Join The Nest Initiative and Maloca Community Gardens for our first garden gathering of the year. As we step into a new semester, we’re creating a space to slow down, spend time outside, and reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the land around us.
This Nest Circle will centre on healing through connection and reflection. We’ll begin with tea, grounding, and conversation before heading into the garden to harvest seasonal crops and take part in hands-on care work. As we work together, we’ll have the opportunity to reflect in smaller groups on our relationship with nature, the emotions we carry about our changing environment, and what caring for the world can look like in our everyday lives.
Whether you’re new to The Nest, looking to meet people, or simply want to spend a peaceful afternoon in the garden, you’re welcome here. No gardening experience is needed, just come as you are.
Let’s begin this new season together, with our hands in the soil and a little more space to breathe!
Location: Maloca Community Gardens
Outdoor event. Please dress for the weather.
